KFH backs student’s trip to Malaysia

Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has sponsored the educational trip of a Bahrain University student to Malaysia. Executive manager Abdul Razak Jawahery presented a cheque to Yousif Hassan Arafa at a ceremony at the KFH-Bahrain headquarters.

The educational field trip to Malaysia is undertaken by the students from the Department of Mass Communication Tourism and Fine Arts at the university. The initiative reflects KFH-Bahrain’s continued commitment towards supporting the community it serves, said Mr Jawahery.

“Enhancing education and training is vital to transforming the lives of our next generation leaders and to that end, we admire and respect the efforts of Bahrain University to help foster essential leadership skills in Bahrain,” he said.

“The one-week visit to Malaysia, aimed at developing the participants’ personal abilities, expose them to the different cultural way of life within Malaysia.”

As part of the field trip, students were engaged in individual debate, which inspired their project work.

During the programme, the students met representatives from all sections of the community ranging from business, religious, sports, political and cultural.

They also met like-minded youth groups and local councillors, and discussed world problems including moral and ethical dilemmas being experienced by the people they met and related issues with the media.
